Omar McDowell Company, located in Cleveland, Ohio, was founded in 1912 by Omar McDowell, Sr.  Initially representing RUUD Manufacturing Company, the developer of the first "automatic" water heater, Omar McDowell added other commercial lines used in the Plumbing/HVAC industry.

In 1943, Omar McDowell Jr., joined the company after earning a degree in mechanical engineering.  In 1952, he became the second President of OMC.

In 1971, Craig McDowell succeeded in the family business and is President of Omar McDowell Company today representing leading manufacturers of cutting edge, high efficiency Plumbing/HVAC equipment. 

With experience spanning over 100 years, the third generation of Omar McDowell Company continues to value and cultivate relationships with clients throughout Ohio and Western New York. Providing comprehensive product knowledge, assistance with application and exceptional service is our mainstay.
